TheRebel Varsity Volleyball team competed at Bethel for the season opener on Thursday September 9th, 2021. The Rebels fell in 3 sets , 17-25, 13-25, 11-25. The pressure of the first game was compounded by an unfortunate ankle injury to Sophomore Sofia Brindise. Prior to her injury Sofia had 2 aces. The team struggled to regain momentum. Junior,  Brooke Berney, did an excellent job at her first start as a middle hitter.  Brooke’s first play of the game was a solo block. Berney also earned her first Varsity kill. Olivia Chadwick, Bridget Martin, Kaycey Turner, Brielle Vore, Brianna Perun, Maddy Kraska, Georgia Chadwick, and Avery Predham each earned their first kill of the season. Olivia Chadwick and Bridget Martin had 2 aces. Briana Perun had 1 ace.
