NFVB vs. Abbott tech, 10/26/20

New Fairfield Rebels squeaked out a win against the Abbott Tech Wolverines 26-24, 25-22, 22-25, 25-15. After a week on “pause” the Rebels resumed their season with a win. The team offered a more balanced offense with 22 serving aces and 24 kills. The defense supported the win with 27 digs. 

Kelly Ford delivered stand out play with 6 aces, 8 Kills, 5 digs and 1 solo block. Emily Flanagan contributed 7 aces, 4 kills and 3 digs. Bridget Martin added 4 aces, 1 kill and 11 digs. Giovanni Langguth delivered 3 kills and 8 digs to the win. 

Caroline Keary offered up 4 aces. Crystal Gangi and Olivia Chadwick each had 2 aces. Avery Predham added to the offense with 6 kills. Maija added 1 ace and 1 kill to the offense. Brianna Perun made her varsity debut with 1 kill and 3 digs.
